Elizabeth Saltos

ABOUT THE ARTIST

Elizabeth Saltos creates sculpture from a continually evolving series
of geometric configurations using a visual alphabet of shape, color and surface
in dialogue with its architectural environs.
Her work has been installed in many corporate and private settings across the United States.
All of these works serve as prototypes for commission work.
She has successfully completed several Art in Public Places commissions,
the most recent being a series of light sculptures entitled “Flying Books”
for the Sacramento Central Library.
Her materials include all varieties of metals with light and movement.
She utilizes many contemporary surface treatments for color with
permanency, durability and aesthetics as her final goal.
